CLIENT OVERVIEW
Consensys spinoff Palm NFT Studio (PNFTS) was formed in March of 2021 to create a new sustainable and scalable ecosystem for mass-scale NFT projects. They help to onboard sports, entertainment, and art brands onto Web3 and are the custodians for the Palm network, an ethereum sidechain.
As PNFTS launched, the NFT conversation was in a toxic cycle fueled by unbridled enthusiasm with sensational headlines that began to swirl around rug pulls, gimmicks, and short-sighted cash grabs. PNFTS' challenge in this environment was to differentiate itself from the noise by telling a long-term story that proved both that NFTs could be environmentally sustainable and evolve into the kind of community-based experiences that could transform culture.
In addition to drops with a wide-range of independent creators and art galleries, PNFTS made its biggest marks by bringing AAA IP onto Web3, resulting in some of the largest NFT drops in history, including DC’s Batman, Space Jam 2, The Matrix, and many more.
PNFTS turned to QP as its strategic integrated marketing partner with a focus on media relations to both advance its own corporate story and work with partners to develop a new generation of NFT drop playbooks that showcased the long-term utility and possibility of the space.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
As Palm NFT Studio’s integrated marketing partner since their launch we were tasked with shifting the conversation around NFTs from the constant boom and bust of the hype cycle to one centered around long-term utility, with Palm NFT Studio positioned as the leader.
To accomplish this we leveraged each new drop as an opportunity to tell this larger story, which demanded tight coordination between the PNFTS side and the drop partner spanning media outreach, social media, Discord, live events, and other channels. In each instance we implemented a strategy that enabled our tech and content partners to help tell our complex story. This entailed tight coordination between all stakeholders and the development of a custom marketing toolkit for each partner covering messaging, digital assets, communication and social calendar, and so on. This required high touch communication with each partner and thorough research on the nuance of each partner and built toward an early embargo strategy that brought media into the fold early, providing time to secure interest and answer potentially difficult questions.
This was the playbook we used for some of the most high-profile drops in NFT history, including DC’s The Batman, Space Jam 2, The Matrix, Pace Gallery, and MLB.
These were just some of the dozens of NFT programs we supported, shifting the conversation about NFTs by placing over 700 stories across entertainment, tech, pop culture, business, and culture media.
